There are three holes like this inside the Lighthouse. They are located on the North-East, South-East, and East sides of the Lighthouse. Most likely caused by treasure hunters. There is a gap and then another layer of bricks. the different layers are tied together with brick columns around the perimeter of the structure. The holes are in the bottom of the tower and are about 2x2 in size. These will be repaired as soon as we can raise enough money. A steel gate now prevents this kind of thing from happening. The sand in the wall is most likely from the mortor above.
